Georgia’s wine exports to Azerbaijan in 2021 increased by 35 percent, compared to 2020, and amounted to 246,635 bottles, Trend reports via the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
According to the latest data from the National Statistics Office (Geostat), Georgia’s wine exports to Azerbaijan from January through November 2021 amounted to $603,930 – an increase of 7.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2020.
Azerbaijan ranked 20-th among main importers of wine from Georgia over first 11 months of 2021.
According to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Georgia’s total wine exports in 2021 amounted to 107 million bottles worth $250 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s total exports of alcoholic beverages in 2021 amounted to $400 million, which is an increase of 18 percent, compared to 2020.
