BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1. The 5,3 magnitude earthquake hit Georgia at 23:35 pm local time, the Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Centre said, Trend reports citing News Georgia.
The epicenter was near the village of Irganchar in Dmanisi Municipality. The tremors were felt in Tbilisi, about 80 km from the epicenter, and other cities in Georgia. No casualties or damage.
