BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Condor Airlines, a German charter airline, carried out its first direct flight from Frankfurt to Tbilisi on May 1, Trend reports via United Airports of Georgia.
"Condor's entry into the Georgian aviation industry is important, both in terms of direct flights and in terms of significant passenger flows between Tbilisi and Frankfurt. Condor airline is well-known in the US, thereby, passengers from Georgia will be able to fly to the US using Condor airline," Head of Aviation Business Development at United Airports of Georgia, Vako Chilashvili said.
Condor Airlines will operate regular flights on the Frankfurt - Tbilisi - Frankfurt route twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday.
