Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) is currently holding an emergency meeting to discuss President Mohamed Morsi's Sunday decision to reinstate parliament's lower house, according to an Ahram Online correspondent close to the military council.
Morsi's surprise decision essentially revoked the military council's mid-June decision to dissolve the People's Assembly following a High Constitutional Court (HCC) verdict deeming an elections law - which governed last year's legislative polls - unconstitutional.
The administrative court is scheduled to rule on the constitutionality of the SCAF decision to dissolve the lower house on Monday.
