At least 25 people were killed and more than 10 wounded when Syrian government forces shot Tuesday night at worshippers entering a mosque for Ramadan prayers in a village north-west of the central city of Hama, activists said.
"The incident took place near in the area of Shariaa, and the people who carried it out were government troops loyal to the brutal regime," Abu Raad, a Syrian activist based in northern Lebanon, told dpa.
