Hezbollah has a list of military targets inside Israel which will be hit in case of a new war, Sheik Nabil Kaouk, Hezbollah commander in South Lebanon, said on Sunday, RIA Novosti reported.
"Let the Israeli leaders know that the Resistance [Hezbollah] also has a bank of targets," he told a Lebanese news agency. In case new war breaks out, Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities will be hit, he said.
This statement came in a response to recent Israeli release of maps and aerial photographs of a network of Hezbollah weapons depots and command centers in southern Lebanon. The Israeli material included detailed maps and 3D simulations showing individual buildings that the military said were rocket storehouses.
Kaouk said that if war breaks out, Israel will face suitable response and surprises.
Israel believes Hezbollah has increased its war-making capacity since the war of 2006 and has some 40,000 rockets.
