( Accecss Hollywood)- Katie Holmes could be the next Hollywood star to spend some time on a Broadway stage.

"There are discussions" for Katie to star in a revival of Arthur Miller's, "All My Sons," a rep for the actress told Access Hollywood.

If she does join the production, Katie would play the role of a woman who visits the family of her lover, a pilot, after he goes missing, according to a report in People. The Miller play would mark Katie's first return to the stage since her high school acting days, according to People.

But could a stint on the Great White Way kick start Katie's acting career?

A London theatre expert told Baz Bamigboye of Britain's Daily Mail, "This play will be like a shop window for Katie. The aim is to remind people of her acting chops. It's kind of a neat idea."

"Nicole Kidman had Hollywood eating out of her hand when she was in 'The Blue Room'," the expert added.

If Katie does take the role, she will have the chance to wow Broadway audiences six nights a week.
