Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika arrived on Sunday in Tehran for a two-day official visit.
Bouteflika will meet his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and discuss bilateral and international issues, the dpa reported.
The Algerian president, who also visited Iran in 2003, is accompanied by five of his ministers who will follow up on agreements earlier signed between the two states.
