(showbizspy.com) - Madonna and her movie-making husband Guy Ritchie put on a united front last night as they stepped out to celebrate the singer's 50th birthday party.
Amid claims her eight-year marriage to Guy, 39, is on the rocks, the Material Girl looked radiant as she draped herself in silver jewelery and held a diamond-encrusted handbag, which appeared to bear her own name for the bash at west London's exclusive Volstead club.
Ritchie, looking like a typical English country gent, was sporting a green suit and blue tie.
One onlooker says, "Madonna looked fabulous for 50-she lit up the place as she walked into the club.
"They looked very happy. It wasn't just her necklaces and handbags which were sparkling-she was too."
Another said, "If there are problems in their marriage-you couldn't tell. They both looked very happy to be in each other's company."
