Brazil striker Luis Fabiano was named FIFA Man of the Match after he scored twice in the 3-1 victory over Ivory Coast that qualified his side for the last-16, dpa reported.
Fabiano lit up Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium with his first goals for Brazil since last September taking his tally for the national team to 27 in 40 matches.
He hit the first in the 25th minute after exchanging passes with Kaka before adding a second five minutes into the second half to send Brazil on their way to an impressive Group G victory.
