An ambulance crashed on Wednesday against a truck, killing five people in a highway near Antonio Dias city in Valle del Rio Doce, Minas Gerais state, police said.
All the victims were aboard an ambulance of Caratinga municipality and were traveling to Belo Horizonte, capital of the state, where the four passengers, including a child, would get medical treatment. The driver of the truck was not injured, Xinhua reported.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
Meanwhile, the Police station of Antonio Dias had decided to conduct an investigation to clarify the accident.
