A hand grenade was thrown at a police station in Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo, damaging three vehicles, police said Saturday, dpa reported.

A hand grenade was thrown at a police station in Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo, damaging three vehicles, police said Saturday, dpa reported.

Two police vehicles were damaged, while a private car belonging to a police officer was torched in the attack. No injuries were reported.

Northern Kosovo is mostly populated by Serbs who reject Pristina's authority. Kosovo's Albanian majority declared independence from Serbia in 2008.
