Six people were killed in a three-car crash on a highway in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Monday, local police said.
A car veered into the opposite lane when trying to overtake another car and crashed with an incoming car at about 10:20 a.m. in Hulan District, Heilongjiang's capital of Harbin, resulting in the collision of the three cars, the public security bureau in Hulan District said in a statement, Xinhua reported.
Four people died at the scene and two died later at hospital, it said.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
