Medvedev orders terror alert after Moscow airport blast

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev called for all transport hubs across the country to be on high alert Monday, after a suicide bombing at Moscow's Domodedevo airport left at least 31 dead, dpa reported.

The order, announced on Russian television, comes into immediate effect and affects all airports and train stations.

Medvedev also criticized apparent lax security at Domodedevo, the country's busiest airport
