Consumer confidence in the eurozone is to improve "significantly" in February, the European Union's executive body said on Thursday, dpa reported http://www.dpa.de
According to the European Commission's "flash estimate," the index in the 17 EU countries which use the euro is expected to reach -9.9, up from from January's -11.2.
However, forecasts for the entire 27-member EU were less positive, as consumer confidence was due to remain "broadly unchanged" from -12.6 in January to -12.4 in February, the commission said.
