Iran's gas condensate export decreased by nine percent during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 20-July 20), said the latest statistics released by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
According to the report, Iran exported 5.943 million tons of gas condensate worth $2.912 billion in the four months, which indicates a 20-percent and a 9-percent decrease in volume and value respectively, year-on-year.
Iran's total non-oil exports (including the gas condensate) stood at $16.31 billion in the first four months of the current fiscal year, which indicates a 21-percent increase.
Therefore, the share of the gas condensate, also known as ultra-light oil from total non-oil exports stood at 17.9 percent, while petrochemical products' export reached $6.769 billion (+41 percent year-to-year), sharing 31.1 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports in the four months.
The value of Iran's industrial exports accounted for $5.09 billion, during the period, 27 percent more year on year. Industrial exports shared 41.5 percent of the Islamic Republic's total exports in terms of value.
The Islamic Republic also exported $1.051 billion worth of agricultural products (nine percent fall year on year) and $391 million worth of mineral products (67 percent increase) in the 4-month period.
Agricultural products shared 6.5 percent of the country’s overall exports in terms of value.
