Romania promised Ukraine EUR 10 million

(ForUm) - Romania intends to allocate Vinnitsa region approximately EUR 10 million in 2007 within the framework of the program on frontier cooperation Ukraine-Romania-Moldova. Oleksandr Dombrovsky, the chairman of the State administration of Vinnitsa region, informed.

According to him, financing of the project on frontier cooperation will be carried out at the expenses of the European Union, the member of which Romania becomes since January1, 2007, reports Trend.

Dombrovsky added that regarding the scope of the program, a session of a joint working group on development of the project with participation of experts and representatives of Finance Ministries of Ukraine, Moldova and Romania will take place December 20 in Bucharest or Suchav.

Working out of the program on frontier cooperation is planned to be finished by the end of January beginning of February 2007, he noted.

Dombrovsky also informed that total amount of financing of the program on frontier cooperation Ukraine-Moldova-Romania will make 66 mln euros.
