A section of the State of the World Population Report 2007 (2'20"), dealing with China has undergone changes and now it reads as follows: "For the first time in history, half of the world's population live within cities. Cities are growing everywhere, but nowhere faster than in China. Large cities like Shunde overflow with migrants who are attracted to the area's economic boom. Good urbanization is essential to alleviate poverty and protect the environment."
