Coast Guard Command of Turkey’s Aydin province detained 118 illegal migrants in the Turkish sector of the Aegean Sea, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish media.
There are citizens of Iran, Afghanistan and Palestine among the detainees.
Illegal migrants intended to enter the territory of Greece, according to the report.
All detainees will be deported from Turkey.
The Turkish Coast Guard earlier detained 223 illegal migrants in the country’s Edirne province on the border with Greece.
