Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict Materials 11 December 2006 20:29 (UTC +04:00)

The Red Crescent letter written by the Azerbaijani military, Vugar Garajayev, who is in captivity in Armenia will be delivered to his family in the near future, Trend reports with reference to the Press Service of the Baku Office of the International Red Crescent Organization (IRCO).

The representatives of the IRCO visited the prisoner of war on 9 December to become familiarized with his imprisonment condition. Garajayev was allowed the opportunity to write a letter to his parents.

As is the position in the IRCO Baku Office, should Armenia states its wish to return the prisoner to Azerbaijan, and in turn for Azerbaijan to receive him with Garajayev's personal consent, IRCO, as a neutral mediator, would be willing to participate in his release and delivery.
