Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 February / Trend corr I. Alizade/ Another village in Azerbaijan will be renamed. On 28 February, the meeting of the standing parliamentary commission for regional affairs discussed renaming the Panahlar village in the Khanlar region of Azerbaijan.
A member of the commission, Tahir Rzayev, reported that the residents of the Panahlar, the municipality and the administration of the region applied to the Parliament asking for the village to be renamed.
The commission for toponymy agreed to rename the village. The issue was put forward for consideration by Parliament.
