Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 November / Trend corr. R.Novruzov/ The prospects of Azerbaijan-Switzerland relations will be discussed in Bern in near future.
The talks will take place during the official visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to Switzerland, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Switzerland Elchin Amirbayov said to Trend on 11 November.
The visit was scheduled for 19-20 November, Ambassador said in a telephone conversation from Bern. That is a return visit of the Azerbaijani FM. Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey visited Azerbaijan in 2006.
Mammadyarov plans to discuss in Bern a wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation, diplomat said. Azerbaijani FM is expected to meet with country's Foreign Minister, Speaker of the Parliament and President.
