Georgia, Tbilisi, March 18 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

Member of the Georgian Parliament, Christian Democrat Nika Laliashvili considers modification of famous German diplomat Dieter Boden's plan acceptable.

Laliashvili said commenting on Boden's visit to Georgia that it is possible to take several unacceptable provisions from Boden's plan for it to be acceptable for both Sukhumi and Tbilisi.

"Boden's plan is good. If there is willingness of the parties, its realization is possible. The fact is that Boden has recently acted actively. German diplomat is highly respected in Abkhazia.

Perhaps, he acted as an intermediary between the parties, if it is acceptable to the parties themselves," Laliashvili said.

With regard to the immediate details of the visit of German diplomat, he knows them, as the only member with whom diplomat met is Paata Davitaia, vice-speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Laliashvili said.

According to the same information, Boden is a representative of the European fund "BOSH", which tries to take part in resolving conflicts in Georgia.
