In the second part of the Milli Mejlis (MM) sitting held on 30 September 2005, 16 documents were discussed and adopted. Supplements and amendments to the law “On Notariat” and the draft law “On obtaining information” were the subjects of a wide discussion, Trend reports.
Along with these documents the MM deputies ratified the agreements between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on strategic partnership, alliances and cooperation in fighting terrorism, illegal drugs and psychotropic substances trafficking, as well as precursors, organized and other kinds of crimes. The protocol on changes and supplements to the agreement on trade between the above-mentioned countries, signed on 10 June 1997 was approved.
Supplements to a number of legislative acts of Azerbaijan, to the Criminal Code and the law “On intelligence and counter-intelligence” were approved at the sitting.
