New Policy bloc to take decision on involvemnt in by-elections after PACE winter session

The “New Policy” election alliance will take a decision on involvement in by-elections followed by the decision on the results of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan adopted at the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the leader of the Movement of Azerbaijan’s Intelligentsia Eldaniz Guliyev, one of the block’s co-founder told Trend.

Guliyev said, at the sitting of the alliance’s Coordinating Council along with the issue of participating in by-elections the principles of the New Policy future activities were discussed. The Coordinating Council members have been commissioned individually to prepare the future action plan.

Guliyev noted, the above-mentioned issues will be discussed at the Coordinating Council sitting in mid-January. The bloc’s spokesman stressed also, neither chairman of the National Independence Party of Azerbaijan (NIPA) Ali Aliyev, nor the party leader Etibar Mammadov took pat in the sitting.
