Several documents were signed in result of summit of CICBMA

Several documents were signed as a result of the summit of Council for Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICBMA) in Alma-Ata.

The declaration of the second summit took a working character, Trend reports with reference to RIA Novosti. The summit paid attention to the global situation, as well as reflected consolidated views of CICBMA member-countries, key problems of security, cooperation in Asia and the world, especially reformation of UNO, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, settlement of regional conflicts, action against new threats and the future development of dialogue of civilizations.

Besides, the foreign ministers and authorized representatives of the member-countries signed an Agreement on Secretariat of CICBMA, carry out daily practical work on support of measures within CICBMA, collection and dissemination of information about realization of confidence-building measures.

According to the Agreement, the secretariat is provided with pure administrative-technical functions, has a limitation for employees (eight-ten persons) of which part has been assign from diplomatic representations of member-states on base of principles of substitution of duties.
