The agreement for establishment of Secretariat to CICA is signed today in Almaty at second summit of said organization, said Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev chairing the session.
"РЎreation of CIC secretariat is one of the most important events that are of a great significance to further development of the forum", - Nazarbayev said.
Upon the decision of authorized members of CICA, Secretariat and its structures are based in Almaty. "Kazakhstan is ready to provide Secretariat with all necessary funding, as well as technical and organization resources",- Nazarbayev said.
The Secretariat Executive Director was appointed Jandos Asanov of Kazakhstan, former director of Europe and America department with Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
