The Chief of the Head Department of the Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Kamil Bagirov, informed Trend that the anonym call to the police regarding the existence of the bomb in the Head Office of Bank Respublika was a lie. According to him, the Head of the Bank was anonymously informed on existence of the bomb in the building of the Bank, and the Bank Head operatively informed the law-enforcement bodies on this issue.
According to Bagirov, the relevant bodies, including sappers, operatively arrived in the incident place. The explosive installations were not discovered. Presently the employees of the Bank are returning to their work place.
Bagirov said that the law-enforcement bodies are carrying out works on finding the caller.
