The Head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and Rapporteur of the organization on Nagorno-Karabakh, Goran Lennmarker, met with the representatives of several NGOs at the OSCE Baku Office on February 9, 2007. The Director of the Center for Election Monitoring, Anar Mammadli, who participated at the meeting, informed Trend that the meeting covered the improvement of the legislation and problems in this sphere. We said that presently negotiations are being held between the Government of Azerbaijan and the European organizations on the improvement of the electoral legislation. He made a number of notes on the base of out information, Mammadli said. In addition, the meeting was attended by the Director of the Center for Law and Development, Hafiz Hasanov, Director of the Center for Assistance to Democratic Elections, Chingiz Dadashov.
