Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamghizi / The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) headed by Sardar Jalaoghlu will not participate in unapproved actions to be taken by the opposition.
The Chairman of the Musavat Party, Isa Gambar, proposed to hold joint actions with the opposition parties and to form a joint committee. Commenting on the proposal Mr. Jalaloghlu noted that the DPA would neither join in any mass event, nor maintain bilateral or multilateral relationships with any party by the end of May. "After the congress of the DPA to be held in May takes place, we will define our position on such matters as cooperation with the opposition and participation in presidential elections. Only then we will begin to make moves in compliance with our new political strategy. In case cooperation with any party or taking part in rallies does not correspond to our new strategy, we will not do that until it is clear," Jalaoghlu added.
