Azerbaijan’s Judicial System to be Discussed in Strasburg

France, Strasburg, 29 February / Trend corr. A. Maharramli/ The judicial system of Azerbaijan will be discussed in Strasburg. According to the Council of Europe's (CE) Secretariat, on the initiative of the CE Director General for Human Rights and Juridical Affairs, the 11th meeting between the Azerbaijani working group and the CE on the subject on 'Independence, Option, Appointment and Appraisal of Judges in Azerbaijan' will take place in Strasburg on 10-11 March.

The meeting will take place within the framework of the CE joint program 'Strengthening of Law's Leadership'.

The event will involve the head of the Central Organizational Control Administration at the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry Azer Jafarov, the Judge of the Azerbaijan Supreme Court Nigar Rasulova, the Chair of the Ganja Appeal Court Rafig Mammadov and the head of the Secretariat of the Juridical Council Javid Huseynov.
