Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 August / Trend , corr. R.Ergun / Azerbaijani boxer Shahin Imranov gained victory in his first match at the Peking Olympiad.
Imranov gained victory at the score of 9:5 in the fighting with Galib Jafarov, Azerbaijani by origin, who represented Kazakhstan.
Besides Imranov, Azerbaijan is being represented at the Olympiad by boxer Samir Mammadov. In the weight of 57kg, Imranov will hold next match with the Georgian boxer.
