Traffic will be limited on some streets and avenues in Baku in connection with the holding of ceremonies to commemorate Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Baku State Traffic Police Department spokesman Vagif Asadov told Trend today.
Police will limit the traffic in the direction of the Alley of Honors and Parliament Avenue to ensure the security and convenience to visit the tomb of Heydar Aliyev , Asadov said.
During the memorial ceremony, the direction of the traffic movement will be changed on the crossing of the M.Mushfig Avenue and H.Javid Avenue, M.Mushfig road junction and Metbuat Street, and the M.Huseyin Street - around the TV-theater building and other surrounding areas of the Parliament Avenue
The Baku State Traffic Police Department urged the drivers to use alternative roads.
Heydar Aliyev passed away on Dec. 12, 2003.
