It needs to specialize the judges in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Supreme Court Chairman Ramiz Rzayev said in an exclusive interview with Trend, expressing his attitude toward the importance of specialization of judges in Azerbaijan.
"Of course, Azerbaijan needs to carry out the specialization of judges. After the specialization, the cases will be considered more professionally. We have done some work in this regard. The Supreme Court has collegiums on criminal cases, cases on military crimes, civil cases, and from this year, an economic collegium stated operating. Primary courts, as well as economic and administrative courts operate in regions. They are quite specialized. In some countries, national collegiums have such an experience, and there are collegiums on the family and marriage. In addition, there is specialization on the violations in the field of labor law. We have not reached this level yet. This is the work of the future," said Rzayev.
