Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov believes it is possible to consider complaints received from citizens with the participation of the media.

"During the year, the ministry receives many calls and complaints. We want to hold debates on them with the participation of representatives of the media," Mardanov told reporters.

Noting that the citizens' complaints are repeated in most cases, Mardanov believes if the consideration of applications will take place with the participation of the press and public, then the number of complaints in this area will decrease.

He said it is impossible to prevent the corruption phenomenon with dismisses from the posts and arrests.

Saying that in the fight against corruption established relationships with the public must be, Mardanov stressed the need to ensure that these relationships were open.

"We need to expand the relationship between parents and teachers, schools and other educational institutions, and be completely open to the media," he said.

Mardanov, recalling that the fight against corruption in the education ministry was carried on throughout the past year, said it would continue.
