Ankara hosts the meeting of the Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of Member countries of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).

The event is attended by delegations of 12 countries, including Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and Greece.

Azerbaijani delegation is headed by the chairman of the forum, the chairman of the Council of State Support for NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan, MP Azay Guliyev.

The meeting discussed the proposal and program of regional cooperation activities of the Forum of NGOs of the PABSEC member countries.
On Tuesday, the Azerbaijani delegation visited the "Medya İşçiləri Sendikası" (Medya-İş).

At a meeting at the Anadolu agency, CEO of the Medya-İş Gursel Eser said the continued occupation of the Azerbaijani city of Shusha is unacceptable, adding that it is necessary to put an end to the occupation and to demand the return of Azerbaijani citizens back to Shusha, which is the center of Azerbaijani culture.
"It has been 21 years since we have lost Shusha. Shusha is not just the city, not only the center and cradle of culture. Shusha has political significance for us, as Azerbaijani Turks lived in the most important city of Nagorno-Karabakh - Shusha. Representatives of the state, culture, and policy were brought up and created in Shusha," Guliyev said.

Guliyev said the Council of State Support for NGOs launched the 'Freedom to Shusha!' campaign last year, and expressed hope for the support of the Turkish state and media in this regard.
The delegation headed by Guliyev includes the president of the Forum of National NGOs Rauf Zeyni, coordinator of the Alliance of NGO cooperation Rufiz Gonagov, deputy chairman of the Center for International Cooperation Halil Ismailov and chairman of the Association of Parliamentary Journalists Elshad Eyvazli.

The Constituent Assembly of the NGO Forum of the PABSEC member countries was held on November 27, 2012 in Baku and organized by the Council of State Support for NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan. The meeting resulted in signing the Baku Declaration and election of Azay Guliyev as the chairman of the Forum.
