Restoration of the Basitchay reserve in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war] has begun, Head of the Biodiversity Protection Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Firudin Aliyev said on Facebook, Trend reports.
According to Aliyev, inventory work was carried out on the reserve’s territory in line with the order of the country’s president.
"Work to restore wildlife sanctuaries and nature reserves in the liberated territories will be carried out as far as possible," he added.
