The today`s judicial sitting on the case of Haji Mammadov and his gang consisting of 25 persons has been short, and the judge has postponed it to October 9. The court over the criminal case of former Senior Officer of the Central Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and 25 members of his gang is presided by Judge on Serious Crimes Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports.
During the today`s hearing, a member of the gang Rovshan Aghayev testified. He refuted all the accusation brought against him by the pre-trial investigation bodies. Mr. Aghayev pointed out that since 1998, he has worked for Haji Mammadov as his driver and taken part in the gang`s crimes only as their driver. Being afraid of Haji Mammadov, he has failed to inform the corresponding bodies about the crimes committed by the gang.
Notably, accordance with the accusations brought against him by the pre-trial investigation bodies, Mr. Aghayev is incriminated his participation in all the murders and kidnapping committed by the gang.
