Companies in Russia's Rostov region are actively negotiating on doing business in Azerbaijan, the head of the department for foreign economic cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rostov Anna Baryshnikova told Trend.
According to Baryshnikova, Rostov companies engaged in production of decorative coatings (facade and finishing materials), manufacturers of metal profiles for suspended systems and ceilings, as well as a manufacturer of various products for construction (self-leveling floors for warehouses, retail space, parking lots) have already reached agreements on the export of their products.
"Intensive negotiations are underway, the first contracts have been concluded. A number of our companies are already operating, also, there are companies that are planning to enter the local market for the first time," Baryshnikova said.
She added that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Rostov region will make every effort to help companies in the region expand their presence in the Azerbaijani market.
