The value of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports has increased from January through February 2022, Trend reports citing the monthly ‘Export Review’ of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of the country.
According to the review, this figure amounted to $461.8 million, up by $130.6 million (39.4 percent) on annual basis.
In the first two months of this year, the share of fruits and vegetables in non-oil exports amounted to $92.3 million, the review said.
Through the reporting period, a 16.5-percent increase was recorded in exports of ferrous metals and their products, cotton yarn – 35.2 percent, chemical products – nine times, cotton fiber – 38.3 percent, aluminum and its products - by 57.4 percent.
Besides, in February 2022, non-oil exports amounted to $229.6 million, thus growing by $44.4 million (24 percent), compared to the same month of 2021, and export of non-food products - $177.9 million, up by $36 million (25.4 percent).
