BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. The agricultural production value in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) grew from January through August 2022, Trend reports via the report of the State Statistical Committee of NAR.
According to the committee, this figure exceeded 354.4 million manat ($208.4 million), up by 3.6 percent on annual basis.
In the first eight months of this year, 16,563 tons of meat in live weight (an increase of eight percent) and 71,266 tons of milk (up by 1.5 percent) were produced in NAR.
Over the reporting period, Nakhchivan's GDP exceeded 1.9 billion manat ($1.12 billion), up by 2.4 percent on annual basis.
Meanwhile, GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 4,182 manat ($2,460), which was 2.9 percent more than from January through August last year.
