BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. Production of motor gasoline in Azerbaijan increased by 19.1 percent from January through September 2023, State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Production cost of petroleum products totaled 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion) from January through September 2023.
Production of petroleum products increased by 11.5 percent year-on-year.
Production of lubricants decreased by 57.7 percent, oil coke - by 27.4 percent, gasoil - by 20 percent, oil bitumen - by 30.7 percent, fuel oil - by 92.4 percent.
The population of Azerbaijan spent 5.4 percent of total expenditures on purchase of gasoline and diesel fuel from January through September 2023.
