Construction of a new shopping center by Azerbaijan’s PMD Group company on the territory of the Baku Ring Road, implemented as part of an expensive project, continues according to the established schedule, a source in the company told Trend.
“The construction is carried out on an area of one hectare,” the source noted. “This is a big project, as part of which attractions, cafés and restaurants will be built. All necessary infrastructure is provided to create conditions for the leisure of visitors. The company plans to complete the construction of the new center by the end of next year. About 20 percent of the work has been done so far.”
The source added that the implementation of this project is provided mainly for residents of the commuter suburbs of Baku.
“Similar facilities are popular in the west, in Russia and Turkey,” the source said. “After the completion of the project, the company plans to build similar centers in other areas of Baku.”
The PMD Group company has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2013.
