The Georgian Finance Ministry will hold a business forum, Finance Minister Kakha Baindurashvili said.
The forum is a good instrument to form "purposeful partnership ties" between the government and business sector to prevent the global financial crisis, Baindurashvili said.
"We will hold meetings monthly to discuss existing challenges," he added.
"Ministry's initiative is very relevant. The relations between the government and business organizations are very complicated, including in the sphere of small and medium scale business. Other ministries should also follow the Finance Ministry's way," Georgian Trade and Industrial Chamber Chairman Shota Makatsaria said.
The first meeting of the business forum will be held on April 15. A total of 30 Georgian business-associations will participate at the forum.
