Russian airlines may cease flying Moscow-Ganja

The Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Ministry of Transport has suspended the license of "Moscovy Airlines" flying on the route Moscow-Ganja, the agency said. The decision takes effect from August this year.

The Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Ministry of Transport has suspended the license of "Moscovy Airlines" flying on the route Moscow-Ganja, the agency said. The decision takes effect from August this year.

According to the decision of the agency, the license is suspended because of the deterioration of basic production and financial-economic indices of the operator affecting safety of consumer rights.
The company has always complied and continues fulfilling its obligations to partners and customers.

"The airline makes scheduled flights within summer schedule, Moscovy Airlines said. "The airline does its best to rapidly resolve industrial and emerging economic-financial issues."

The airline makes flights on the route Moscow (Domodedovo) - Ganja daily. The plane takes off from Moscow at 12:55 local time and arrive in Ganja at 2:05, except Saturday, when it arrives at 2:00.

Besides, "Muscovy","Azerbaijan Airlines", Russian airline VIM-Avia, UTair make flights from Ganja to Moscow. The flights are also made to St. Petersburg from this airport.
