Georgia imported products amounting to $150.7 million from Azerbaijan in January-March 2015 or by 16.6 percent less than in the same period of 2014, the Georgian National Statistics Service's report on foreign trade as of Jan.-March 2015 said.

For comparison, Georgia imported Azerbaijani goods worth $180.7 million in January-March 2014.

Azerbaijan ranks third in the list of countries from which Georgia imports the products. The share of Azerbaijan's export in a total amount of goods imported in Georgia is 8.5 percent.

Georgia imports most goods from Turkey. The volume of Georgian imports from Turkey amounted to $320.22 million in January-March or 18 percent of total imports.

China ranks second with $167.99 million and a weight of 9.5 percent of the total Georgian imports.

Georgia mainly imports gas, oil products, building materials, electric power and other products from Azerbaijan.
