Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has extended preferential rates on customs duties for several types of imported agriculture products and building materials.
In accordance with the decision, the preferential rates, which expired Nov. 1 this year, will be valid until December 15, 2019.
In particular, preferential duties on imports of onions, hazelnuts, raisins, apples, pears, persimmons and other products were extended. Preferential duties on imports of several building materials, for example, hydraulic cement, gypsum, anhydrides, building blocks, bricks and other products were also extended.
However, the customs rate for the import of eggs until December 15, 2019 will amount to $100 per 1,000 eggs. Previously, a zero customs rate was applied in this regard.
