By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Ruslan Dalenov, the minister of the national economy of Kazakhstan has disclosed the information on the economy growth rate in the country, Trend reports via the press office of the ministry.

“In January-April 2019 the growth of GDP of Kazakhstan has increased to four percent. In January-March it amounted to 3.8 percent. This dynamic is related to the increase in the manufacturing industry, service sector, as well as to the stable rates of construction sphere and agriculture,” said Ruslan Dalenov.

“The inflation amounted to 1.8 percent since the beginning of the year and to annual 4.9 percent,” said the minister.

“The investment dynamics exceed the GDP growth rates. The growth amounted to 6.7 percent. A drastic increase of investments is observed in agriculture, construction and industry. As at April 1, 2019 the international reserves amount to $86 billion,” added Ruslan Dalenov.

“Furthermore, the economic growth of main partner countries continues. Still, this growth carries less value than in the same period of last year,” he said.

“The situation of the commodity markets is stable. In four months the average oil price amounted to more than $65 per barrel, whereas the metal prices display the decrease. Protectionism in the international trade is increasing. These are the global trends,’ he concluded.
