Price of oil up, of petrol and fuel oil down in Kazakhstan

During seven months of 2019, the prices on goods of industrial manufacturers increased by 3.2 percent compared to December 2018, Trend reports with reference to Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.

Thus, the price increase in mining industry amounted to 4.4 percent, whereas in processing industry it has equaled 3.2 percent. The industrial production increased by 3.5 percent, whereas the prices on services of industrial nature went up by 0.1 percent.

During the reporting period the price of coal increased by 9.2 percent, of metal ores by 6.6 percent, of oil by 4.5 percent, of natural gas by 1.8 percent, of liquefied propane and butane by 1.7 percent, of diesel fuel by one percent. In contrast, the prices of petrol and fuel oil decreased by 11.8 percent and 0.5 percent respectively.

The increase of pricing is also displayed by precious metals by 13.1 percent, of rolling of ferrous oil by 5.6 percent, of ferroalloys by 2.6 percent. The decrease of pricing is observed on aluminum by 4.7 percent, of zinc by 1.9 percent and of copper by 1.6 percent.

Among food items the increase of prices is observed on rye flour by 21.4 percent, on wheat flour by 14.4 percent, on rice by 17.1 percent, on cereal by 10 percent. Furthermore, the price increase is also displayed by noodles by 9.7 percent, of meat from cattle by 8.2 percent, of bread by 5.5 percent, of tea by 3.5 percent, of milk products by three percent, of vegetable oil by 2.6 percent, of fish by 2.1 percent. In turn, the price decrease is observed on poultry meat and sugar by 1.9 percent and 0.6 percent respectively.
