An investment program has been approved in Turkmenistan for 2020, Trend reports referring to the country’s presidential decree.
The ministries, branch departments, administrations of the regions and the Ashgabat city are ordered to provide timely and proper implementation of the program.
Turkmenistan is one of the key suppliers of natural gas in the Caspian region, selling this type of fuel to China and Russia.
In July 2019, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the relevant structures of the fuel and energy complex to intensify its activity, including by attracting specialized foreign companies and their investments.
